How to Use Linezolid:
Tablet, Liquid

  • Your doctor will tell you how much of Linezolid to use and how often. Do not use more medicine or use it more often than your doctor tells you to.
  • You may take Linezolid with or without food.
  • If you are using the oral liquid, gently turn the bottle upside down several times before pouring your dose. Do not shake the bottle. Measure your medicine with a marked measuring spoon or medicine cup.
  • Keep using Linezolid for the full treatment time, even if you feel better after the first few doses. Your infection may not clear up if you stop using the medicine too soon.

  • Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. You may keep the oral liquid for up to 21 days. After that, throw away any unused medicine.
  • Keep all medicine away from children and never share your medicine with anyone.

Drugs and Foods to Avoid While Taking Linezolid:
