Treats eye swelling, itching, and discomfort caused by allergies. Belongs to a class of drugs called corticosteroids.
Brand Name(s):Pred Forte, Pred Mild, Econopred Plus, Omnipred, Inflamase Forte, Prednisol
There may be other brand names for Pred Forte.
When Pred Forte Should Not Be Used:
You should not use Pred Forte if you have had an allergic reaction to prednisolone or other corticosteroids such as dexamethasone (Decadron®). You should not use Pred Forte if you have had an allergic reaction to sodium bisulfite.
